Give a brief info about your startup?
Will On Woods is an Experiential learning academy. Serene and set in heights of mother nature, it assists schools, colleges and corporates with specific training programmes on specialised topics.WOW is an initiative to bridge the gap between peoples aspirations and dreams to reality. Founded by a group of young people, the soul of it lies in the ethos of colouring a beautiful world. It envisions to see in its marathon ‘To spread happiness and create prosperity in thoughts and life’.
What made you start your startup and what problem does it solve?
Witnessing the education in classrooms, we believed a creative space with an open environment and fun-filled engaging arena will help the students to self realise and understand one self better. So we wanted to aid schools and colleges in this process. We help students in understanding their own untapped potentials and capabilities and strengthen’s them to their dreams and aspirations.
With the corporates we drill on ‘specified tailor made programmes’ to achieve their career and personal goals.
Tell us about yourself, your previous jobs/ventures? What were you doing before this startup?
Most of us were working with MNC’s and a few were self employed. We had this idea before we left the college .So working helped us in bringing our dreams much closer. It also helped in rubbing our character and the way we inspire the people who works for us and who help us in building our dreams.
Where is your startup based out of? Why do you think that is the best place for you?
In the Blue Mountains/ the Nilgiris. There was always a belongingness to this place and the project being greatly connected with nature and herself being the greatest teacher, we never had arguments about the place for our inception.
As a startup founder, what are you paranoid about? What keeps you awake at night?
WOW is a big team with diversified thinking capabilities. We believe in the power of togetherness and together we confront the difficulties.
Who are your competitions and how are you better than them?
Since everything being an inspiration, the overriding focus is on improving ourselves and getting better at what we do and provide. Along these lines it wraps up; competition rests with the previous day and today !
How hard is it to have a work-life balance as a startup founder and how do you manage it?
We tread on the wheels of WORK-LIFE HARMONY.

What’s the biggest misconception people have about you? Why do they have that? What’s the reality?
There is a misinterpretation of Will On Woods as an adventure tourism enterprise. May be because of trekking and mountain biking is in its docket. We are a ‘learning & training house’ closely connected with nature.
What gets you excited about this company?
There are a lot of things that keeps it very existing.The paramount of excitement is the WOW family itself. The vision and mission of the Will On Woods is its spark. Tell us how a day in your life looks like? Your schedule for a day right from the time you get up till you hit the bed at night.
Everything depends on the DAY ! If there is an ongoing programme, then a pre-decided schedule takes the place. Time for self improvement and pets pockets the morning routine. The arrival of working hours functions on priorities with shorter intervals of indoor games to keep everyone fresh and active. Everybody has assigned jobs and chores to complete and it out-turns by connecting everything together. There is always a greater amount of trust and freedom running around.
Answering calls, mails & checking the practices followed are there in the desk. The additional perquisite is that there is time in the day to pursue your interest or learn something new. Pep talks, tough talks and open discussions ends with a game of cricket in the evening. The drift to sleep ends with a DO List for tomorrow. Plus Saturdays and Sundays are there in your hand to use.
Tell us about your team and how did you meet each other?
The robustness of Will On Woods is its Power Pack and the belief in its mission “To inspire a generation to believe in their dreams, foster and flourish them and help them to reach for those through activities, open literature and brick community formations” and the unconditional support from the cosmos. We are roped in as childhood and colleague friends.
