inFact is news and infotainment social media, powered by machine learning to personalise content based on user interest or languages. Users share knowledgeable articles from different sources with timeline follow-ups, related videos and the like.
What made you start your startup and what problem does it solve?
Under-earned journalist , manipulative news and un-personalised news.
Our unique revenue partnership program ( it’s on beta right now ) helps journalist and other content creators to earn more as they share stories or write more articles where they will get the attention and not become sidelined after working on the story.
Most of the media houses are leaned towards a particular political ideology which makes it hard to get information that is unbiased. InFact will provide articles from multiple media houses for each story and a normal user will get to read from the recommended source (article with most information ) and users are free to switch to any media house they like.

Myself Nikhil G Daniel, a Engineering Drop out from TKM College of Engineering . I was working as a freelancer for last 7 years on SEO, ASO and Digital marketing
Where is your startup based out of? Why do you think that is the best place for you?
We are currently based in Kochi, the place is a booming ecosystem for startups.
As a startup founder, what are you paranoid about? What keeps you awake at night?
Tutoring the “How To Use” Features is the hardest part, without completely knowing how it will affect the user experience.
Who are your competitions and how are you better than them?
inShort & DailyHunt.
They both are aggregators and share news from their partnered media companies. As dailyHunt is fully automated platform same news will get repeated from different media source.
inFact is basically a social media for knowledge, where users share news and facts with follow-ups or timeline with related videos and options to read the same news from multiple news media. We present all the news and facts in a unique way by the combination of image and text.
How hard is it to have a work-life balance as a startup founder and how do you manage it?
There is no such thing as work life balance, we do everything on priority basis.
Have you raised funding? If yes, then we would like to know the details. If no then please tell us if you’re looking to raise?
Yes, we raised Seed & Angel Funding from 2 different investors. Now we are looking for Pre-Series A right now.
What’s the biggest misconception people have about you? Why do they have that? What’s the reality?
Some of my friends and colleagues sees me as a workaholic person and sometimes even suggest to get some life out the news world, for me it’s FUN.
What gets you excited about this company?
Seeing people learning something new everyday.
Tell us how a day in your life looks like? Your schedule for a day right from the time you get up till you hit the bed at night.
Wakes up at 8.30, finish my chores and get to the office at 9 then eat breakfast watching the morning news then routine meetings and insight analysis. Then watching, writing, editing and publishing news and facts. This goes on, eat lunch somewhere between 1-3, then will play table-tennis with colleagues, we have a mandatory table tennis break so that brain will get refreshed.
Tell us about your team and how did you meet each other?
After planning and conducting the feasibility study and research on InFact, I pitched it to my Co-Founder Rohit Sajeev and seed investor Midhun G Babu. They got excited and we started this project immediately. At that time we were a small team and our core team consisted of 2 developers, one for backend Salman Latheef, who was my senior from college, and the android expert Abin Stanly, a colleague of Salman. Over the years our family has grown and it now consists of 15 members.
