The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre of Mar Baselios College of Engineering and Technology, Catalyst was inaugurated in the year 2013 with a purpose of inspiring students to become independent engineers by exposing then to the world of Entrepreneurship through Innovation. The Centre aims in sharpening the skills of students, broadening their knowledge base and equipping them with technical and non-technical qualities that an engineer need.
Facilities
MBCET Future Labs: An initiative to introduce and promote AI, AR/VR, IOT, BC, Robotics.
Maker Space: A collaborative workspace where students can learn through interaction with peers, mentors and machines. Maker Space offers facilities like working space, internet, pitch desk, ideation space, prototyping assistance to take your idea to the prototype stage.
Skill Development Programmes (SDP): Mar Baselios College of Engineering and Technology offers students the opportunity to empower themselves with various skill development programmes and workshops.
Innovation Council: Houses the Innovation Council under the aegis of MHRD’s Innovation Cell. MHRD’s Innovation Cell (MIC) systematically foster the culture of Innovation amongst Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).
