The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode is one of the best in the country to fall in the IIM league. Located at Kunnamangalam in Kozhikode the capmus is popularly understood to be a world of its own, stretching over 112.5 acres of land. The institute boasts the title of the fastest growing management school in the country; it started in 1997 with a batch of 42 students and now has a batch of 356 students. IIM Kozhikode is the first IIM to have a full-time MBA in Liberal Studies and Management. There are many achievements IIMK holds to its name, one being that it is one of the few Centres for Development of Digital Libraries in the world and is a country leader. This is one of IIM’s flagship courses of 2 years. The method of instruction for the course is a blend of both lecture methods and experimental learning methods.
Post Graduate Programme in Finance (PGP-Finance)
This 2 year Masters Programme trains students to excel in the finance world, they are trained for work in domains such as corporate finance, investment banking and wealth management.

Post Graduate Programme in Liberal Studies & Management (PGP-LSM)
The Post Graduation in Liberal Studies and Management is a unique course and IIM Kozhikode is the first to offer a full MBA programme in it. The programme aims to equip an individual with emotional, cultural and creative intelligence to become an excellent manager.

Post Graduate Programme in Business Leadership (PGP-BL)
This is a one year Programme that train individuals with work experience to become potential business leaders. The institute also facilitates placements for students as part of the programme. The programme is said to be notable for the way it fuses the East and the West in its curriculum.

Doctoral Programme in Management (PhD)

Eligibility
Each Academic Programme has different set of admission criteria. The doctoral and business leadership programmes even require sufficient work experience to apply. However the institution insists on the following minimal criteria for applying to the institution.
Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA

Placements at Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK)
It is commendable that IIM Kozhikode’s placement has increased in terms of salary offers and number of recruiters. The final placement 2020 is said to have come to an end with 100% placement in just 5 days. According to the Economic Times, IIMK has completed 2018-20 batch placements with a mean salary rise of 12%. Around 131 recruiters participated and out of 418 students, 413 have gotten offers.
